PAF
Pure Autonomic Failure Pure Autonomic Failure (PAF) is a degenerative disease of the peripheral nervous system. PAF usually occurs at middle age but can occur at any time.
Symptoms may include:
- dizziness
- syncope caused by orthostatic hypotension
- visual disturbances
- neck pain
- chest pain
- fatigue
- digestive problems
- bladder disturbances
- headaches
- sexual dysfunction
Symptoms are worse when standing and some can be relieved by lying down some of the time.
